The construction of Crown Towers in Perth has raised the F&B bar more than a few notches out west. The five-star Crown Towers is now the largest hotel in Perth, boasting 500 guest rooms, along with an array of world-class restaurants and bars, unique event spaces and resort-style pools.
Perth has a deserved reputation for its amazing dry-weather climate. That said, Crown Towers takes the alfresco comfort of its patrons very seriously, to the point of ensuring uninterrupted enjoyment of some of its amazing outdoor eating and drinking spaces regardless of the season.
Epicurean restaurant (a sophisticated Western and Asian cuisine dining experience) features a beautiful outdoor dining space with a perfect view over Crown Towers’ lagoon pools, the Swan River and the city of Perth. Little wonder it’s such a popular spot for diners. Bromic Platinum Electric heaters were selected by Crown Towers to ensure the comfort of alfresco diners when temperatures cool. Crown and Bromic partnered to devise a housing for the heaters and the lighting. The specially-designed gantry compliments the look of the decorative roof structure while maintaining an effective heat profile.
Crown Ballroom 3 Terrace is another lovely outdoor area featuring beautiful greenery and views over the Perth landscape. The pre-function area is a desirable venue for a sunset cocktail or spot to watch the jaw-dropping Optus Stadium light show when an event is on.
Bromic Tungsten Electric heaters are positioned to provide full coverage of the area, ensuring year-round comfort for patrons. The high, floor-to-roof glazing necessitated the heaters be mounted well above head level. This proved to be no problem for Bromic’s beefy 6kW electric models — Crown patrons feel the warmth of the Tungsten Electrics without impinging on the architect’s design intent.
The electric heating from Bromic has been an unqualified success. Crown Towers’ Property Services Department reports: “Since installation, the heaters have been very reliable and provide guests with comfort during their dining or event experience all year round.”
